2017 Arrival Guide with parking information is attached.
This year, we are going big! We have invited CDOT’s Director and the Mayor of Boulder to headline a tremendous lineup of speakers at SSI-2. We expect to bring over 200 attendees together for two full days of learning and networking. The second day is devoted to Envision training that will empower many of them to assess sustainability projects.
Join us for SSI-2 and take the opportunity to interface with some of the brightest minds in academia, engineering, planning, and policy.
The 2017 Symposium will provide a limited number of student scholarships to cover the majority of the cost of the second day of the event, devoted to training in the use of one of the nation’s premier sustainability evaluation systems, known as ENVISION. These scholarships, valued at approximately $135 each, will be awarded to qualifying Junior, Senior and Graduate Students. Interested students should email SSI2Colorado@gmail.com for an application and additional information. ENVISION has been developed at the national level by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI)founded by the ASCE, APWA and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). Information about ISI and ENVISION is available at https://sustainableinfrastructure.org/. It is expected that professionals, faculty members and students will be registering for this training.
