2018 Spring Street Conference Registration

The West Slope branch of APWA Colorado and the Colorado Association for Roadway MAintenance (CARMA) present the 31st Annual Spring Street Conference.  Always an educational and enjoyable event - so plan to join us! 

Early conference attendee registration is $100 before April 6th, registration is $125 after that date. Exhibitor booth and sponsor options are available.  Please see attached flyers for more information.

State Championship Backhoe Competition.  The APWA Colorado Chapter will sponsor the State Champion to participate in the National Backhoe Competition at the 2018 PWX in Kansas City.  There is an additional fee to compete and pre-registration is required.  Registration is $20 per person through April 17th.  After that date, registration is $25 per person through April 19th and increases to $50 if registered the day of the event.  These prices are for conference attendees.  If you don't attend the conference but would still like to compete, the fee is $50.

Flagger Certification: Flagger Certification is an additional $20 fee to the conference registration fee if registered by April 19th.  The fee increases to $25 if registered the day of class, Friday, April 20th.  Registrants must be conference attendees.The Flagger Certification workshop will cover all of the necessary information to successfully complete the Colorado Flagger Certification exam including: Traffic Control Introduction, Manual and Standards, Traffic Control Devices.  The instructor will talk about proper flagging techniques, safety; traffic control devices; available resources, and other topics related to being a competent and safe flagger. NEW: CDOT has a new 85% passing requirement on the exam.  Attendees can request Flagger manuals from Colorado LTAP for review ahead of time.   

APWA Colorado West Slope Branch is sponsoring 10 conference scholarships to west slope government agencies and are awarded on a first come, first served basis.  The scholarship would cover one $100 attendee registration fee for agencies who would like to apply for one of their staff to attend this engaging event.  Only one scholarship per agency.  Contact Paul Ruud, APWA West Slope Chair, by April 6th to request a scholarship or if you have questions.  pruud@telluride-co.gov
