The Rocky Mountain Public Works Institute provides a regional program that educates and elevates public works employees, helping them achieve their management and leadership potential through interactive classes taught by experienced public works officials. The Institute follows the proven APWA model that has been successfully implemented by a number of other APWA chapters throughout the country.

The Rocky Mountain Public Works Institute takes one year to complete. There are five two-day sessions held every other month. Sessions begin in January and conclude with the Colorado Annual Chapter Conference in the fall. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis and class size is limited to 24.
The 2018 class has been filled. Information and applications for the 2019 session will be available in April 2018.
