Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, public administration, business administration, management, or a related field and 3-5 years of management experience. The preferred candidate will have 6+ years of progressive management experience in public works and/or county government. Candidates must possess effective communication skills, be able to collaborate with the county commission, staff, public and other agencies, and be comfortable with a transparent form of government.
