Sustainability Happy Hour Event - March 14

APWA Center for Sustainability (C4S) and Colorado Chapter Happy Hour

Roundtable Discussion on Sustainability Initiatives

This event will feature small group roundtable discussions focused on how local governments are implementing sustainability projects and programs in North America, including Huntington Beach, CA’s scientific approach to ground water re-use and Montreal West, QC’s lessons learned from a door-to-door household composting pickup program. The Denver Office of Sustainability will also participate. Denver was recently accepted into Bloomberg American Cities Climate Challenge, a two-year acceleration program that will provide powerful new resources and access to cutting-edge support to help meet or beat its near-term carbon reduction goals.

  • James Patteson, Director of Public Works and Environmental Services, County of Fairfax (Virginia)
