Rocky Mountain Public Works Institute

The Rocky Mountain Public Works Institute provides a regional program that educates and elevates public works employees, helping them achieve their management and leadership potential through interactive classes taught by experienced public works officials.  The Institute follows the proven APWA model that has been successfully implemented by a number of other APWA chapters throughout the country.

• Basic management skills

• Communication skills

• Leadership skills

• Community service/customer orientation skills

• Legal understanding

• Fundamentals of government

• Finance

Creating the future

The Rocky Mountain Public Works Institute 2020 class has been filled.  PWI takes one year to complete.  Applications and information for the 2021 session will become available in the spring of 2020.  The 2021 session begins in January 2021 and concludes with the Colorado Annual Chapter Conference in the fall.
